Experience Description

This workshop is designed to equip people leaders with the knowledge, skills, and tools to foster environments where neurodivergent individuals can confidently advocate for their needs and preferences.

By addressing systemic and interpersonal barriers, including egocentric biases, participants will learn to create inclusive workplaces that amplify neurodivergent voices and promote equity in advocacy and decision-making processes.

Participants will explore the principles of self-advocacy empowerment, psychological safety, and inclusive leadership through simulations, reflective exercises, and group discussions. The session emphasizes actionable strategies for addressing barriers to advocacy, fostering trust, and aligning workplace practices with neurodiversity affirming principles.

Participants will be able to recognize and mitigate barriers to neurodivergent self-advocacy, integrate inclusive behaviors into team collaboration and decision-making, and adopt leadership practices that empower and amplify neurodivergent voices.
